* A bodega is a wine cellar.
A cool, dark place for storing wine to be enjoyed at a
future date. But Filipinos use bodegas to set aside all sorts of stuff. These
may be useful
or useless, old or new, memorable or forgettable. In my bodega, I keep stuff
that reminds me of
family, friends, and colleagues. Rummage around the bodega, why don't you.
There is a lot of junk,
but you may stumble upon a bottle of wine that delights you.
